We have some very good news to share: Ural Neo has officially received its U.S. EPA certification, and the first motorcycles are already on their way to dealers!

This is a huge milestone for the Neo project. We have cleared the major federal regulatory hurdle required to begin selling Neo in the United States. And this time, there is no waiting for the bikes to arrive. Our first shipment, 26 Ural Neo motorcycles plus our initial inventory of service and repair parts, have already cleared the Port of Tacoma and been delivered to our warehouse in Woodinville, Washington. We have begun shipping motorcycles to dealers!

For those who have been following the project from the beginning, this is the moment we have all been waiting for: Neo is finally becoming something you can see, ride and buy at your local dealer.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT NEO

With deliveries beginning, we have also updated the Ural Neo website with all the key information about the production motorcycle. If you have been waiting for Neo, see the dealer map and contact your nearest dealer regarding availability and demo opportunities.

CALIFORNIA

For our customers in California, there is still one additional step. CARB certification remains in progress, and motorcycles cannot be sold in California until that process is completed. We will provide an update as soon as we have better visibility on timing.

CANADA

EPA certification also allows us to move forward with the steps required to certify Neo for the Canadian market, and we are starting that work immediately. We will keep our Canadian customers and dealers updated as the certification process progresses.

JAPAN

Things are moving on the other side of the Pacific as well. Our Japanese certification motorcycle is currently in transit to Japan. Certification testing is scheduled for October. Certification testing always has the potential to bring surprises. However, if everything goes as we hope, we currently anticipate beginning deliveries in Japan in December.

EUROPE

For our European customers, we have also reached an important milestone. After a lengthy development and testing process, we have completed development of the Euro 5+ configuration with solid results. We are now assembling two motorcycles that will be used for official certification testing. We want to be particularly cautious about predicting timing until those tests are underway. Based on what we know today, however, we are cautiously targeting the first European deliveries after the New Year, most likely in late January or early February. We will keep you posted on certification progress.

AUSTRALIA & UK

We haven't forgotten our customers in Australia and the UK who are waiting for the left-hand version of the Neo. Development formally kicks off in mid-October, when our engineering team meets again with the Yingang engineers in Chongqing. At that meeting, we'll define the required changes and set a development plan for this configuration. Once that initial engineering assessment is complete, we'll have a much clearer picture of the delivery timeline. We'll keep you posted as the project moves forward.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Getting Neo to this point has taken considerably longer and has been considerably more challenging than we imagined when we started the project.

We know that many of you have been following Neo from the very beginning and have been waiting a long time to finally see the production bikes arrive. Thank you for your patience, your encouragement and your continued support throughout this journey. It has meant a great deal to our team.

There is still plenty of work ahead of us: ramping up production and deliveries, supporting dealers and customers, and completing certification in the remaining markets. After 20 months of talking about what Neo “will be”, we can finally start talking about what Neo “is”.
